Traffic Monitoring

The council and parishoners have concerns with regard to the number of vehicles travelling through the villages and the speed at which some of them are travelling at.

Three Speed Indicator Devices (SID) have been purchased and provide accurate information with regard to:

Daily vehicle count, speed, average speed and speeding vehicles as shown below with the results of various locations for this month. Please note that the results are for one way only. As a reasonable assumption then each column can be doubled to give a both way result.

Also included is a new feature which shows drivers over the prevailing speed limit +10% +2 that is applied by police forces which will then identify those drivers that would be prosecuted for speeding.
