Minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on
Monday 6th June 2016 in Aubourn Clock Tower
At 7.30pm
Present at the meeting
Chairman Cllr. Mrs. P. Woodman MBE, Cllrs M. Coulson, D. Knott, F. Harston, S. Dinsdale & the Clerk.
Cllr. Mrs Woodman welcomed everyone to the meeting.
Police time
PC Stenner came and spoke about his new role as PC in North Hykeham and Hykeham rural. There had not been any crime in the last month.
Public Time
No Public.

Cllr Sue Howe.
Declaration of Interests
Cllr. Mrs Woodman declared an interest in items relating to the clerk and finances.
Minutes of the Last Meeting
These were read, agreed and duly signed with the date of the open day amended.
Matters Arising
The problem with the footpath on Sky Lane has been reported to the Police and Highways. CCTV signs have been put up.
Clerk to email Annual Parish Meeting minutes round to all Cllrs.
The Police are aware of people living at the depot. It has also been reported to NKDC enforcement team.
Cllr Harston reported the cars speeding late at night to PC Stenner.
The Hut
An email had been sent to Philip Wyn from Nevile Estates reporting a concern from a resident as to the safety of the building. A reply came saying that there are plans to fence it off from the playing field and also remove the Aubourn village hall sign. He also stated that the verge on Dovecote Lane will be cut.
LCC Report
Cllr Ray Philips absent, no report.
NKDC Report
Cllr. Mrs. Woodman reported that all local attractions information are available online.
Armed Forces Day is to be celebrated with a flag raising ceremony. On Friday 26th June veteran’s medals will be presented at an evening celebration in the council chamber. NK heritage zone will be at the Lincolnshire Show.
10 authorities have agreed to go ahead with devolution. There will be a public
consultation in the summer.
Community champions are now able to be nominated. With the awards taking place in
September.
Cllr John Money is the new chairman at NKDC.
Highways Matters
There is a streetlight out on Bridge rd.
PLANNING
16/0477/HOUS Timber framed garage Old Church Cottage Aubourn. No objections.
16/0552/HOUS Garden room, Hillside, Haddington. No objections.
CLOCK TOWER
Possibly going to open the Dovecote in September for the Heritage weekend.
The clock work should start next week. Cllr Harston will plane the toilet door and Cllr
Coulson will fill in the gap around the main door.
FINANCES
The audit was completed and sent to Grant Thornton.
The asset list needs to be looked at and possibly revised and the bus shelters need to be
added.

INDIVIDUAL CLLRS REPORT
Cllr Knott – nothing to report.
Cllr Harston reported that the work at the weir is completed. He had fixed the dog
fouling notice on Dovecote lane, spoken to NK about litter on Stone Lane. Requested
speed gun on Butts Lane.
Cllr Dinsdale – nothing to report.
Cllr Coulson – nothing to report.
Cllr Woodman – Clerk to write to Mrs Stubbs asking her to remove her flower trolley
from the highway where the water pump is situated. This is a parish asset.
