Minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on
Monday 3rd October 2016 in Aubourn Clock Tower
At 7.30pm
Present at the meeting
Chairman Cllr. Mrs. P. Woodman MBE, Cllrs M. Coulson, S. Dinsdale, D. Knott F. Harston & the Clerk.
Cllr. Mrs Woodman welcomed everyone to the meeting.
Police Time
The clerk read a report as there was no police presence.
25/9/16 Commercial burglary - Old Haddington Lane.
13/9/16 Theft from a vehicle – Items including a Kindle and cash stolen – Old Haddington Lane.
Public Time
No Public were present.
Apologies for Absence
Cllr Mrs S. Howe sent her apologies.
Declaration of Interests
Cllr. Mrs Woodman declared an interest in items relating to the clerk, Mr Woodman and finances.
Minutes of the Last Meeting
These were read, agreed and duly signed.
Matters Arising
There is a streetlight out on Bridge Rd.
Traffic count on Butts Lane required.
Village speed limit requested to be 30 mph throughout both entire villages.
Information regarding potholes to be displayed in each noticeboard.
NKDC Report
A report from Cllr. Mrs. S Howe was read out stating that all local attractions information are available online.
Highways Matters
Manholes on Bridge Rd and Church Rd have been reported as they are sunken and so are very noisy.
There is a pot hole on Suttons Corner that has been reported.
A traffic count requested from the road safety partnership has been generally approved.
The footpaths are still in a bad state of repair, either cracked or overgrown.
Hedges abutting footpaths have been cut back.
The drain gully’s in Haddington have been jetted to enable efficient drainage.
LOCAL PLAN
The consultation will be held at the Hilton on the Brayford. The public are invited to
listen in November and December.

Cllr Harston- reported that the bus shelter has been swept
out and that he will tidy up near the PO box.
AOB
The tree in the field next to graveyard has two very large
branches that stretch over the road and could be dangerous.
