Minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on Monday 5th February 2018 in Aubourn Clock Tower at 7.30pm

Cllr. Mrs Woodman welcomed everyone to the meeting.

1. Public Time

No public were present.

2. Police Time
The police were present. PCSO Sarah Lingard reported that a car had been damaged on Royal Oak Lane.
A tractor had been stolen from Haddington and used to rip out the ATM at the Jet garage.
Speeding remains an issue and PCSO Lingard said she would try to get the speed gun to use in the villages.

3. Apologies for Absence
No apologies.

4. Declaration of Interests
Cllr. Mrs Woodman declared an interest in items relating to the clerk.

5. Minutes of the Last Meeting
These were read, agreed and duly signed.

6. LCC Report & NKDC Report
Cllr Mrs Overton gave the report. The full LCC report is available to read on the website.
Cllr Mrs Howe gave the report. The full report is available to read on the website.
All local attractions and information are available online.

8 FINANCES
The clerk gave the financial report.
Mr Ogg has confirmed his fee of £60 per cut will not change. The PC are pleased to carry on using his grass cutting services.

9. Clock Tower
The purchase a pair of steps so that the light bulbs can easily be changed has been completed.
Cllr Harston has sorted out the ill-fitting door frame.
The clerk is to source some shelving for the store room.

10. HIGHWAYS
The pond at Haddington will need attention. HHW to be contacted.
Manhole covers on Royal Oak Lane and Bridge Road continue to be loose.
Haddington hedges need cutting.
Bollards on Butts Lane need attention.
A Noticeboard has been sourced and the clerk will send the link round.
Cllr Knott has organised a quote for the repair of the clock tower railings.
The Church finger post is still in the process of being sorted out.
Cllr Dinsdale undecorated the tree and disposed of it.

11. AOB
Sign on ROL right turn has a new bulb.
Thanks to Mrs Stubbs for organising the defibrillator and training.
