Minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on
Monday 6th March 2017 in Aubourn Clock Tower
At 7.30pm
Present at the meeting
Chairman Cllr. Mrs. P. Woodman MBE, Cllrs D. Knott, F. Harston, S. Dinsdale, Sue Howe & the Clerk.
Cllr. Mrs Woodman welcomed everyone to the meeting.
Police Time
There has been no reported crime.
Public Time
No members of the Public were present.
Apologies for Absence
Cllr M. Coulson sent his apologies.
Declaration of Interests
Cllr. Mrs Woodman declared an interest in items relating to the clerk.
Minutes of the Last Meeting
These were read agreed and duly signed.
Matters Arising
There were no matters arising.
NKDC Report
A report from Cllr. Sue Howe was read out stating that all local attractions and information are available online. Cllr Mrs Pat Woodman also reported on the Local Plan.
FINANCES
Breakdown on separate sheet.
The VAT rebate of £1,045 is to be left in the Community account.
PLANNING
There is no planning.
HIGHWAYS
The clerk is to report the following potholes:
Church Road
Harmston Road
Footpath on Bridge Road
Manhole covers on Royal Oak Lane and Bridge Road
Verge on Royal Oak Lane
Church finger notice
Cllr Harston and Knott met with the woodland Trust to discuss the tree management. Cllr Harston reported that all required work has been carried out.
CLOCK TOWER
The Open Sunday’s dates are to be April 23, May 21, and June 25.
INDIVIDUAL CLLRS REPORT
Cllr Harston‐ reported that the footpath on Bridge Road is disintegrating. There is a lot of litter in Haddington and would request a speed gun on Dovecote Lane.
Clerk reported that the charge for dog waste bins from NKDC has been dropped.
