Monday 2nd October 2017 in Aubourn Clock Tower

Present at the meeting
Chairman Cllr. Mrs. P. Woodman MBE, Cllrs M. Coulson, S. Dinsdale, F. Harston, Cllr Mrs S. Howe, Cllr Mrs. M. Overton & the Clerk.
Cllr. Mrs Woodman welcomed everyone to the meeting.
1 Public Time
No public were present.
2 Police Time
No police were present.
3 Apologies for Absence
Cllr Mr D. Knott sent his apologies.
4 Declaration of Interests
Cllr. Mrs Woodman declared an interest in items relating to the clerk.
5 Minutes of the Last Meeting
These were read and a query regarding the finances was flagged up. The clerk will check this. They were then agreed and duly signed.
6 Matters Arising
The South Hykeham action group regarding the waste transfer station on Boundary Lane are meeting with the MP.
7 LCC Report

8 NKDC Report
A report from Cllr S. Howe was read out and is available to view on the website. All local attractions and information are available online.
9 FINANCES
The clerk gave the financial report.
It was decided that £100 donation would be given to LIVES following the Heritage weekend.

10 Clock Tower
The Cumbria Clock Company carried out the annual maintenance on the clock.
The clerk has arranged the fire protection check.
It was decided to enquire about purchasing a pair of steps so that the light bulbs can easily be changed.
11 HIGHWAYS
Road safety partnership are to deliver 2 new signs.
The footpath on Bridge Road needs to have weed killer applied.
Barriers on Harmston road have been there a long time, Highways said it will be done in a month.
The road is eroding on Sutton’s corner.
Manhole covers on Royal Oak Lane and Bridge Road continue to be loose.
The church finger post sign is still missing.
No 23 street light out again.
12 Planning
The Lincoln Enterprise Park A46 Lincoln has amendments to buildings, the PC has no objections.
14 AOB
Hugh Sure is happy to deliver Poppies again this year.
Bassingham Ball committee is kindly donating a Christmas tree again.
Cllr Dinsdale is to investigate solar lights for the tree.
Haddington’s notice board is in need of replacement, HHW are going to give a quote.
